Reinhard Ebert, son of Johannes Ebert, married in Burghaun on 10 January 1741 to Catharina Schmidt, daughter of Caspar Schmidt.

The baptisms of ten children born to Reinhard Ebert & Catharina Schmidt are recorded in the Burghaun parish records: (1) Anna Barbara, born 11 May 1743; (2) Anna Barbara, born 7 December 1744, died 7 December 1744; (3) Johannes, born 6 August 1746; (4) Catharina, born 27 July 1748. died 10 July 1749; (5 & 6) twins Johann Heinrich & Anna Catharina, born 25 May 1750 (Johann Heinrich died 2 June 1750); (7) Johann Adam, born 12 July 1751; (8) Anna Margaretha, born 26 October 1754, died 18 November 1764; (9) Anna Catharina, born 28 November 1756, died 29 December 1758; and (10) Anna Elisabetha, born 15 December 1759.

The parents and four of their surviving children immigrated to Russia, arriving from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 13 September 1766 aboard the galliot Die Perle under the command of Skipper Thomson.

Reinhard Ebert, his wife Catharina, and children (Anna Maria, age 24; Joh., age 21; Johann Adam, age 18) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that father Reinhard died in route.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Hussenbach in 1767. Descendants of this family are recorded on the 1798 census of Hussenbach in Households No. Hs003, Hs009, & Hs025.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Reinhard Eberhardt [sic] came from the German region of Fulda.
