Widow Katharina Müller and her children arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 August 1766 aboard the pink Novaya Dvinka under the command of Lieutenant Perepechin.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Müller on 16 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 29 along with Johannes Kaiser. The 1767 census does not record a relationship between the Müller and Kaiser families.
The 1767 census records that Anna Katharina Müller came from the German village of Geien [?] in the Stolberg region.
