Hans Georg Mühlhausen [sic], a farmer, his wife Maria Barbara, and sons (Johann Christoph, age 18; Johann Georg, age 13; Heinrich, age 6; Johann Wilhelm, age 2½) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 15 June 1766 aboard the ship Die Vergelte Weintraube under the command of Skipper Anderson.

Johann Georg Mühlhaus, his [new] wife Rosina, and children by his first wife (Johann Christoph, age 19; Johann Georg, age 15; Heinrich, 7) are recorded on the 1767 census of Keller in Household No. 54. They had settled in Keller on 12 May 1767.

Following the destruction of the colony of Keller, the Mühlhaus family relocated to the colony of Neu-Kolonie.

The widow and children of Christoph Mühlhaus are recorded on the 1798 census of Neu-Kolonie in Household No. Nk35.

Mattias Mühlhausen [sic], son of Christoph Mühlhaus, is recorded on the 1811 census of Neu-Kolonie in Household No. 33.

Johannes Mühlhaus, son of Mattias Mühlhaus, and his family are recorded on the 1834 census of Neu-Kolonie in Household No. 13.

Johannes Mühlhaus and his family are recorded on the 1850 census of Neu-Kolonie in Household No. 28.

Johannes Mühlhaus and his family are recorded on the 1857 census of Neu-Kolonie in Household No. 30.

Heinrich Mühlhausen [sic] and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Neu-Kolonie in Household No. Nk27.

The death of Heinrich Mühlhausen [sic] in 1810 is recorded on the 1811 census of Neu-Kolonie in Household No. 25.

The 1767 census records that Johann Georg Mühlhaus came from the German village of Urlichstadt [?] in the Darmstadt region.
