(1) Konrad Bender (born 1714) has the following children whose baptisms are recorded in the parish register of Ettingshausen: (1) Anna Elisabetha, born 3 March 1746, baptized 5 March 1746; (2) Georg, born 11 December 1747; (3) Adam [sic], born 8 October 1751; and (4) Anna Catharina, born 25 June 1756.
Widower Konrad Bender, a farmer, and his chidren (Anna Elisabeth, age 22; Johann Georg, age 20; Anna Margaretha, age 14; Katharina, age 10) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 August 1766 aboard the pink Novaya Dvinka under the command of Lieutenant Perepechin.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Krasnoyar on 20 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 22. Son Johann Georg has not been located on the 1767 census, but he is recorded on the 1798 census of Krasnoyar in Household No. Ks023.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Konrad Bender came from the German village of Hohensolms. The 1767 census records that Konrad Bender came from the German village of Lich in the region of Solms.
(2) Philipp Ludwig Bender (born 1727) has the following children whose baptisms are recorded in the parish register of Ettingshausen: (1) Johann Henrich, born 3 June 1755; (2) Elisabetha Catharina, born 29 April 1757; (3) Johannes, born 18 March 1758; (4) Anna Catharina, born 4 December 1760; (5) Anna Catharina [again], born 23 April 1764; and (6) Cyriekus, born 27 April 1767, died 13 May 1842 [in Ettingenshausen].
Philipp Bender, a farmer, his wife Katharina, children (Johann Heinrich, age 9; Anna Katharina, age 6; Anna Christina, age 3), and father-in-law Kaspar [surname not recorded] arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 August 1766 aboard the pink Slon under the command of Lieutenant Sergey Panov.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Krasnoyar on 20 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 33.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Philipp Bender came from the German region of Solms. The 1767 census records that he came from the village of Lich in the Solms region.
