Johann Jakob König & Marianna Schmidt from Kurpfalz were married 2 October 1765 in the Reformed Church in Lübeck.

Jakob König, a farmer, and his family settled in the Volga German colony of Beauregard on 27 August 1766. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 15.

The 1767 census records that Jakob König came from the German village of Holzheim.
