There are a number of references to Catholic Körner families in Beauregard, Katharinenstadt, Mariental, and Schönchen that are all believed to be referring to members of the same family, but further research is needed to confirm this.
Friedemann Kerner, a tailor (Schneider), and his family settled in the Volga German colony of Beauregard on 27 August 1766.
They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 11.
In 1786, Friedrich [sic] Körner and his family moved from Beauregard to Katharinenstadt.
In 1788, Friedmann Körner and his family moved from Mariental to Katharinenstadt.
Friedmann Körner from Beauregard and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. Ka034.
In 1787, Joseph Friedrich Körner moved from Katharinenstadt to Schönchen.
In 1795, Joseph Friedrich Körner moved from Schönchen to Mariental.

The 1767 census records that Friedemann Kerner came from the German region of Delchenburg [perhaps Mecklenburg?].
