Konrad Östreich, a surgeon (Feldscher), and his wife Eva arrived from Lübeck via Reval [Estonia] at the port of Oranienbaum on 24 May 1766 aboard a pinque named Лапоминк (Lapomink - a Russian river) under the command of Lieutenant Dmitry Krykov.
They arrived in the Volga German colony of Warenburg on 12 May 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 15 along with the orphan Johann Andreas Bastian. The 1767 census does not record a relationship between the Östreich and Bastian families.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Konrad Östreich came from the German region of Darmstadt. The 1767 census records that Konrad Östreich came from the German village of Alsfeld in the region of Darmstadt.
