Andreas Naumann, a farmer, and his family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 29 July 1766 aboard the ship Apollo under the command of Skipper Friedrich Detloff Mörenberg.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Pfeifer on 20 August 1767 where they are recorded on the 1767 census in Household No. 94.

The 1767 census records that Andreas Naumann is from the German district of Mannheim.
