Ludwig Pabst, a farmer, his wife Anna, and son Martin (age 3) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 10 June 1766 aboard a boat named Святая Екатерина (St. Catherine) under the command of Midshipman Alexander Trusov.
Ludwig Pabst and his family are recorded on the 1775 census of Beideck in Household No. 14.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Ludwig Pabst came from the German region of Riedesel.
