Anthon [sic] Münch and Sophia Schmidt were married on 10 October 1765 in St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Lübeck.

Anton Münch, a farmer, his wife Maria, and son Christoph (age 9-months) are recorded on the 1767 census of Beauregard in Household No. 5. They had settled there on 27 August 1766.

The 1767 census records that Anton Münch came from the German region of Tinich.
