Adam Heick, a farmer, and his family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 August 1766 aboard the pink Novaya Dvinka under the command of Lieutenant Perepechin.
Adam died and his widow Anna Maria remarried to Wilbold Frick with whom they had arrived in Oranienbaum.
The combined Heick/Frick family settled in the Volga German colony of Köhler on 21 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 45.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Adam Heick came from the German region of Schönborn.
There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
