Widower Joseph Silberbauer (age 63) settled in the Volga German colony of Rosenheim on 27 July 1765. He is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 15.
The 1767 census records that Joseph Silberbauer came from the German village of Beerleite near Vienna.
There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
