Christoph Dubhorn, a farmer, his wife Katharina, and his children (Philipp, age 14; Margaretha, age 6) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 18 June 1766 aboard the hooker Anna Katharina under the command of Skipper Scharpenberg.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Straub on 12 May 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 29.
Heinrich Dubhorn and his sons (Martin Philipp & Philipp Peter) are recorded on the 1811 census of Straub in Household No. 25 along with a note that they relocated to the colony of Neu-Straub [year not recorded].
Heinrich Dubhorn and his family are recorded on the 1834 census of Neu-Straub in Household No. 42.
The 1767 census records that Christoph Dubhorn came from the German village of Kusel in the Zweibrücken.
