Anton Petersen, a craftsman (Handwerker), and his wife Katharina settled in the Volga German colony of Enders on 27 July 1765. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 28.
The 1767 census records that Anton Petersen came from the city of Lübeck and that Katharina came from the German village of Bizau [?] in the Mecklenburg region.
