Johann [Peter] Schwindt, a farmer, and his wife Katharina arrived from Lübeck at the port in Oranienbaum on 17 July 1766 aboard a pink named Lev (Lion) under the command of Lieutenant Fyodor Fyodorov.
Peter Schwindt (age 31), a farmer, his wife Katharina (age 24), and orphan Georg Philipp (age 5) are recorded on the 1767 census of Pfeifer in Household No. 2. They had arrived in Pfeifer on 20 August 1767.
Katharina Schwindt, widow of Peter Schwindt, and her family are recorded on the 1798 census of Pfeifer in Household No. Pf65.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Schwindt came from the German region of Mainz. The 1767 census records that Peter Schwindt came from the village of Aschaffenburg.
