Jakob Kühn, his wife Wilhelmina née Klein (widow Boos), and daughter Maria Katharina (age 7) are recorded on the 1776 Katharinenstadt Grundbuch [Land Register] in Household No. 57.
Widow Wilhelmina Kühn is recorded on the 1798 census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. Ka051.
The 1767 census records that Jakob Kühn came from the town of Zürich in Switzerland and that his wife came from the town of Amsterdam in Holland. The 1776 Katharinenstadt Land Register records that Jakob Kühn came from Zürich in Switzerland and that his wife came from Amsterdam.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Kühn family among the Volga German colonies.
