Nikolaus Kochum, a farmer, his wife Katharina, and children (Jonas, age 4; Barbara, age 1) are recorded on the 1767 census of Kamenka in Household No. 55. They had arrived in Kamenka on 28 April 1766.
Nikolaus Kochum, his wife Katharina, and children (Jonas, age 12; Barbara, age 9, Charlotta, age 4; Friedrich, age 2) are recorded on the 1775 census of Kamenka in Household No. 2.
The 1767 census records that Nikolaus Kochum came from the German town of Koblenz.
