Mathias Müller, a laborer (Fabrikarbeiter), and his wife Anna Maria settled in the Volga German colony of Kamenka on 6 July 1765. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 29.
The 1767 census records that Mathias Müller came from the German village of Karlsbad in Böhmen (Bohemia).
