Friedrich Amen, a farmer, and his wife Barbara settled in the Volga German colony of Kamenka on 6 July 1765. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 15.
The 1767 census records that Friedrich Amen came from the German region of Baden-Durlach.
