Abram [sic] Beck, a blacksmith (Schmied), his wife Anna, and children (Anna, age 15¼; Friederika, age 8; Friedrich, age 6) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard a galliot named Die Börse von Lübeck under the command of Skipper Martin Friedrich Markau.
Abraham Beck, a blacksmith (Schmied), and children (Friederika, age 10; Friedrich, age 8) are recorded on the 1767 census of Warenburg in Household No. 72 along with his [new] wife Sophia, and her daughter (Sophia Hannebolet, age 18). They had arrived in Warenburg on 12 May 1767.
The 1767 census records that Abraham Beck came from the German village of Nieder-Ingelheim in the Kurpfalz region.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Beck family among the Volga German colonies.
