Georg Lammert [sic] from Bentzheim on the Bergstraß & Maria Catharina Pfarrhoff from Ober Erlenbach were married on 17 May 1766 in the City Lutheran Church of Friedberg.
Georg Lamberg [sic], a baker (Bäcker), and his wife Katharina arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 22 July 1766 aboard a ship named Der Ringende Jacob (The Wrestling Jacob) under the command of Skipper Johann Heitmann.
Georg Lambert, his wife Katharina, and daughter Maria (age 3-months) are recorded on the 1767 census of Brabander in Household No. 18. They had settled there on 28 August 1767.
Georg Lambert and his wife are recorded on the 1798 census of Brabander in Household No. Bn63.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Georg Lammert [sic] came from the German region of Mainz. The 1767 census records that Georg Lambert came from the German village of Bensheim Bergstraße in the Kurmainz region.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Lambert family among the Volga German colonies.
