Mehringer
Johann[es] Mehringer, a tailor (Schneider), his wife Anna, and children (Katharina, age 7½; Anna, age 3½) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 8 August 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Heidemann.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Brabander on 28 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 12.
The 1767 census records that Johannes Mehringer came from the German village of Estrig [?] in the Kurmainz region.
