Johann Michael Noriheim, a cobbler (Schuhmacher), and his wife Dorothea settled in the Volga German colony of Husaren on 1 June 1766. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 17.

The 1767 census records that Johann Michael Noriheim came from the German village of Memel in Prussia.

There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
