Lukas Oberberger, a laborer (Fabrikarbeiter), his wife Anna Maria, and children (Anna Maria & Maria Elisabeth) settled in the Volga German colony of Kamenka on 6 July 1765. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 36 along with newborn daughter Maria Katharina (age 1).

The 1767 census records that Lukas Oberberger came from the German village of Warendorf.

There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
