[Heinrich] Wilhelm Weingarten and his wife Katharina arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766 aboard the English frigate Love & Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax.
Heinrich Weingarten and his wife Catharina are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
They are recorded in Household No. 89 on a list of Beauregard recruits that is attached to the 1767 census. A note records that they relocated to the Volga German colony of Kind in 1768.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Wilhelm Weingarten was a farmer from the German region of Runkel. The 1767 census records that he was a weaver (Leineweber) from the German village of Baumen [?] in the Runkel region.
There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
