Christian Müller, a farmer, his wife Anna Margaretha, and son Johann Michael (age 12) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 16 August 1766 aboard a galliot named Frau Diederika (Lady Diederika) under the command of Skipper Johann Joachim Lunau.
Johann Michael Müller is recorded on the 1767 census of Walter in Household No. 63 along with the Johannes Karl family. The 1767 census does not record a relationship between the Müller and Karl families.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Christian Müller came from the German region of Erbach. The 1767 census records that Michael Müller came from the German village of Eschach [?] in the Erbach region.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Müller family among the Volga German colonies.
