Johann Barth, a farmer, his wife Elisabeth, and children (Anna, age 12; Margaretha, age 11; Sibilla, age 7; Kunigunda, age 4) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 4 July 1766 aboard the English frigate Love & Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax.
Johann Bart and his daughters (Anna, age 12; Margaretha, age 10; Sibilla, age 7) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
Surviving daughter Anna Sibilla (age 8) is recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Nieder-Monjou in Household No. 136 along with a note that she relocated to the colony of Meinhard in 1768.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Barth came from the German region of Neuhaus. The 1767 census records that Anna Sibilla came from the German region of Brandenburg.
There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
