Discussion & Documentation

Lars Bergstrom, a single refiner (Zuckersieder), arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 15 September 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Hans Karholm.

Lars Bergstrom is recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

He is recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Beauregard in Household No. 81 along with a note that he continued to live in Beauregard in 1768.

The 1767 census records that Lars Bergstrom came from the Swedish town of Stockholm.
