The following children born to Johann Thieß Waßmuth & Anna Margaretha Müller [daughter of Johann Dietrich & Anna Catharina Müller - see Müller Family] are recorded in the parish register of Fauerbach (bie Friedberg): (1) Johann Peter, born 12 September 1744; (2) Henrietta Christina Friederike, born 1 October 1767, died 30 November 1746; (3) Maria Catharina, born 4 October 1748, died 1 November 1749; (4) Maria Dorothea, born 29 July 1751; (5) Johann Bernhard, born 1 June 1756; and (6) Anna Elisabeth, born 3 January 1760, died 28 October 1805 [in Fauerbach].
Son Johann Peter Wasmuth married on 28 April 1766 in Elze near Leine to Anna Margaretha Luers.
Johann [Peter] Wasmuth and his wife Anna arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 10 August 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Nikolaus Peter Pink.
Peter Wasmuth, his wife Anna Marga., and daughter (born en route) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Ernestinendorf on 3 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 9 and on the 1798 Census in Household No. Er01.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Wasmuth was a farmer from the German region of Solms. The 1767 census records that Peter Wasmuth was a baker (Bäcker) from the German village of Fauerbach in the Solms region.
