Friedrich Will, a farmer, his wife Anna, and daughter Anna (age 5¼) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard a barque named Fortitudo (Fortitude) under the command of Skipper John Scott.
He settled in the Volga German colony of Kraft on 18 August 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 4 along with his [new] wife Sophia.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Friedrich Will was a farmer while the 1767 census records that he was a potter (Töpfer).
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Friedrich Will came from the German region of Friedeburg [sic]. The 1767 census records that Friedrich Will came from the German village of Eket [?] in the Friedburg region.
