A Johann Conrad Martin & Eliesab. Margr. Schenck were married on 14 March 1766 in the Lutheran Church of Büdingen. This may be the same man who arrived in Oranienbaum.
Konrad Martin, a single farmer, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 10 August 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Nikolaus Peter Pink.
Johann Conr. Martin is recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
He is recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Boisroux in Household No. 72 along with a note that he relocated to the colony of Hockerberg in 1768.
The 1767 census records that Konrad Martin came from the German village of Nidda near Steinberg in the Darmstadt region.
