There are two families that arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard a ship named Die Zwei Gebrüder (The Two Brothers) under the command of Skipper Nicolaus Peter Pinck. Their relationship to each other, if any, needs further research.
(1) Adam Quinbach, a farmer, his wife Anna, and children (Elisabeth, age 8; Anna, age 6) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard a ship named Die Zwei Gebrüder (The Two Brothers) under the command of Skipper Nicolaus Peter Pinck.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Paulskaya on 23 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 82.
(2) Anna Quinbach, a single woman, arrived in Oranienbaum.
It is not known what happened to her following arrival in Russia.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that both Quinbach families came from the German region of Darmstadt. The 1767 census records that Adam Quinbach came from the German village of Leniter [?].
There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
