Gabriel Wulf, a baker (Bäcker), his wife Antonia, and children (Marianna, age 8; Johann, age 6) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 14 June 1766 aboard the ship named Die Neue Fortuna under the command of Skipper Ahrens Steingraber.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Brabander on 13 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 7.
The 1767 census records that Gabriel Wulf came from the German village of Belingen in the Kurpfalz region.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Wulf family among the Volga German colonies.
