Johann [Matthias] Dossier, a single man, arrived from Reval [Estonia] at the port of Oranienbaum on 30 May 1766 aboard the pink Lopamink under the command of Lieutenant Kryukov.

He settled in the Volga German colony of Brabander on 19 August 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 56 along with his new wife Katharina.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Dossier was a miller from Tirrou. The 1767 census records that Matthias Dossier came from the village of Obraurangel [?] in Luxembourg.
