Ulof Wesmann, a craftsman (Handwerker), and his wife Maria settled in the Volga German colony of Frank in 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household no. 50.
The 1767 census records that Ulof Wesmann came from the town of Stockholm in Sweden.
There are no known surviving male descendants of this family among the Volga German colonies.
