Franz [Scheitwahl] (age 5) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 22 July 1766 aboard a Danish galliot named Der Engel Rafael (Archangel Raphael) under the command of Skipper Ehlert Kongsted along with his mother and [step-]father Karl Lobinger.
He settled in the Volga German colony of Brabander on 26 June 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 97 along with his mother and stepfather.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Scheitwahl family among the Volga German colonies.
