Heinrich Ritter, a craftsman (Handwerker), and his wife Susanna settled in the Volga German colony of Huck on 17 August 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 61.

The 1767 census records that Heinrich Ritter came from the German region of Darmstadt.
