Friedrich Gottlieb Buschmann, a craftsman (Handwerker), settled in the Volga German colony of Enders on 27 July 1765. He is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 15 alongn with his new wife Katharina Flehn [?], age 19, who came from the German village of Schilbor [?] near Herrbrass [?].

The 1767 census records that Friedrich Gottlieb Buschmann came from the German village of Stollberg in the region of Sachsen (Saxony).

There are no known surviving male descendants of this Buschmann family among the Volga German colonies.
