Hartmann Kronstan (age 12) and his sister Katharina (age 6) are recorded on the 1767 census of Enders in Household No. 13 along with their mother Christina who had remarried to Karl Adam Kiewit.
The 1767 census records that the Kronstan family came from the German village of Strausberg in the region of Sachsen (Saxony).
There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
