Johannes König and his wife Katharina Maria Grün are recorded on the 1798 census of Ernestinendorf in Household No. Er11.
The 1767 census records that Johannes König came from the German village of Achenbach in the Hessen region.
There are no known surviving male lines of this König family among the Volga German colonies.
