Johann Weil Becker, a farmer, his wife Anna Margaretha, and his in-laws (Johann Ulrich & Maria Elisabeth Will) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 4 July 1766 aboard the galliot Die Fortuna under the command of Skipper Peter Stahl.
Weil Becker, a farmer, and his wife Anna Margaretha settled in the Volga German colony of Balzer on 18 June 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 69 along with Maria Elisabeth Will, his mother-in-law [whose surname is erroneously recorded as Ulrich, the first name of her deceased husband]. The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Weil Becker came from the German village of Lindheim. The 1767 census records that Weil Becker came from the German village of Strotzbüsch.
There are no known surviving male descendants of this Becker family among the Volga German colonies.
