Discussion & Documentation

Gottlieb Schneider, a single tailor, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 15 September 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Fyodor Fyodorov.

He may be the Gottlieb Schneider who is recorded on the 1798 census of Frank in Household No. Fk102.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Gottlieb Schneider came from the German region of Saschen (Saxony).
