Widow Elisabeth Engel and her son Ludwig (age 2¼) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 June 1766 aboard the ship Die Jungfer Friederika under the command of Skipper Hans Christian Korsholm.
Ludwig Engel is recorded on the 1798 census of Frank in Household No. Fk129.
