Widow Dorothea Friedrich and her children (Sophia, age 13; Johanna, age 9; Dorothea, age 7; Johann, age 4; Martin, age 1¼) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 June 1766 aboard an English barque named George under the command of Skipper Adam Bairnsfair.
Widow Dorothea Friedrich and her children (Soph. Elisabet, age 11; Johanna Sophia, age 9; Joh. Martin, age 1) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
Daughter Sophia is recorded on the 1767 census of Paulskaya in Household No. 41 along with the Joseph Kott family. The 1767 census does not record a relationship between the Friedrich and Kott families.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Dorothea Friedrich came from the German village of Bernburg.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Friedrich family among the Volga German colonies.
