Johann Christian Müller, his wife Wendel, and son Christian (age 1½) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 16 August 1766 aboard a snow-brig named Prinz Carl (Prince Carl) under the command of Skipper Christopher Losser.
Joh.Christ. Müller, his wife Wendell, and son Christian (age 1½) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that son Christian died en route.
Christian Müller, a cloth weaver (Tuchweber), and his wife Wekdela [?] are recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Kaneau (No. 2) along with a note that they relocated to the colony of Katharinenstadt in 1768.
Widower Johann Christian Müller and his son Christian (age 8) are recorded on the 1776 Katharinenstadt Grundbuch [Land Register] in Household No. 172 along with a note that he has married in Schaffhausen.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Müller family among the Volga German colonies.
