Kaspar Böhm, a farmer, his wife Anna Rosina, and sons (Johann Filbert, age 13; Johann Georg, age 8) settled in the Volga German colony of Kraft on 18 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 19.

The 1767 census records that Kaspar Böhm came from the German village of Burgsinn.
