[Johann] Heinrich Höppner and his wife Anna Barbara arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 August 1767 aboard the pink Slon under the command of Lieutenant Sergey Panov.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Krasnoyar on 20 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 32.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Heinrich Höppner was a butcher from the German region of Darmstadt. The 1767 census records that he was a farmer from the German village of Nidda in the Darmstadt region.
