Eberhard Künzler [sic], a farmer, and his wife Maria Katharina settled in the Volga German colony of Krasnoyar on 20 July 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 82.
The 1767 census records that Eberhard Künzler [sic] came from the German region of Laubach.
The 1798 census records this surname as Kanzler. Later census documents record this surname as Künstler.
