Georg Ludwig Dim & Anna Maria Hiebler were married on 20 May 1766 in Roßlau.
Ludwig Timm [sic], a cooper (Fassbinder), and his wife Anna Maria arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 16 August 1766 aboard a galliot named Adler (Eagle) under the command of Skipper Paul Adolph Drath.
Ludwig Demm [sic], a cooper (Fassbinder), and his wife Anna Maria arrived in the Volga German colony of Brabander on 5 September 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 103.
Ludwig Dimm and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Brabander in Household No. Bn42.
The deaths of Ludwig Dimm in 1807 and his son Andreas in 1808 are recorded on the 1811 census of Brabander in Household No. 42.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Ludwig Timm [sic] came from the German region of Württemberg. The 1767 census records that Ludwig Demm came from the German village of Ludwigsburg in the Württemberg region.
There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
