Johan Philip Diesing, a linen weaver (Leinweber), & Anna Dorothea Krum, both from the area of Darmstadt, were married on 7 August 1766 in Pastor Möllraht's house in Lübeck. The marriage is recorded in the parish register of St. Jacob's Lutheran Church in Lübeck.

Philipp Dienst [sic], a weaver, and his wife Anna arrived from Lübeck at the port in Oranienbaum on 19 September 1766 on a vessel under the command of skipper Johann Hermann Anderson.

Johann Phillip Dissing [sic] and his wife Anna Dorothea are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

Johann Philipp Diesing, a farmer, and his wife Anna Maria settled in the Volga German colony of Yagodnaya Polyana on 16 September 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 21.

Georg Diesing from Yagodnaya Polyana and his family are recorded on the 1857 census of Neu-Yagodnaya-Polyana.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Philipp Dienst [sic] came from the German region of Darmstadt. The 1767 census records that Johann Philipp Diesing came from the German village of Schotten.
